Gary Lauber Obituary
Gary L. Lauber, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 60. He was born in Waukesha on October 2, 1963, the son of John and Lillian (nee Nelson) Lauber. On September 29, 1990 he married the former Alice Verborg in Racine, WI. He served for many years as a volunteer EMT/Firefighter for the Wales Fire Department. Gary was co-owner, along with his wife Alice, of Midwest Beads in Brookfield. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband and loving father of 5.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Alice, along with their children Sarah (22), Katie (20), John (18), Emily (16) and Megan (14) Lauber. He is further survived by his brothers Bill and Steven Lauber. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Lori Lauber and brother John Lauber.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A private burial will be held. Memorials in Gary’s name are appreciated to the Lake Country Fire and Rescue, 115 Main St., Delafield, WI 53018.
