We had only met a few times, but I enjoyed the times from the very beginning. Sharing the moment of your daughter and my son getting married will always be the highlight and a forever memory. Condolences and prayers for peace, encouragement and fondness of memories to the family.

Gary had the unique ability to light up a room with his infectious laugh. Smart, engaging, and purposeful. He made all of us better by being himself. His brother Dale was in my brother Mark's Gateway class.
Debbie - peace, prayers and perspective in the coming days.

I thought of Gary as the consummate intellectual, championing the underdog and a voice for individual rights and liberties. And this was in high school (Gateway) ! But over the years, I grew to appreciate his terrific sense of humor, down to earth personality, and his love and exuberance for his family, Debbie, the kids and canines. I'm very saddened by his passing.

Sad to hear of your passing, Gary. Locker buddies all those years ago at Gateway.

I am very sorry to learn this news. I remember clearly the first time I met Gary: Mr. Emerson's 7th grade English class, Gateway Regional High School, September, 1964. Gary asked if we would be reading any Ian Fleming. Emerson was annoyed. I made a mental note to find out who Ian Fleming was, and to get to know this skinny, bespeckled kid who was asking all these important questions. It was obvious that Gary was more worldly (and better read!) than any of the rest of us in that classroom. Rest in peace Gary. Deep condolences to his family.
