Gary Eugene Mast, of
Dublin, Pennsylvania, was welcomed into the presence of his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the age of 71.
Born in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Francis Eugene Mast and Marian (Ruhl) Mast, Gary was raised in Abington before later relocating to Bucks County, where he became a longtime and proud resident of Dublin Borough.
Gary was the beloved husband of 28 years to Brenda (Earley) Mast; a devoted father to Jessica Pomraning and her husband, Brian, and Jonathan Mast and his wife, Jenny; and a loving grandfather to Gavin, Evelyn, Samuel, Hazel, Russell, Charles, and Justin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Mast, and his mother-in-law, Margaret Earley. He is also survived by his cherished brother-in-law, Bruce Earley, and his wife, Beverly.
Gary earned his bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and enjoyed a successful career as a realtor for more than 20 years. He was formerly associated with REMAX Action Realty and Charles Huntoon Realty, where he was known for his dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for his clients.
A man of deep faith and service, Gary was a devoted member of Living Hope Community Church in Dublin. He gave generously of his time to his community, serving on the Dublin Borough Planning Commission and Borough Council. Gary had many interests, including motorcycles, gardening, woodworking, building projects, cooking, coffee, camping, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies.
Gary proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy, including service during the Gulf War and Operation Enduring Freedom. His military career allowed him to travel extensively throughout the world and form lifelong friendships. He remained a proud veteran throughout his life and continued to support fellow service members and charitable causes with gratitude and humility.
In addition to his family, Gary held a special place in his heart for his loyal canine companions - Ike, Luke, Beau, and Nemo - who were his constant friends and family for more than two decades. He often said that dogs were God's example to man on how to treat each other and live with those around you.
Gary will be remembered for his service, generosity, humor, strong values, and unwavering love for his family, friends, shipmates, and community.
