Gary Merryman Obituary
He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 22, 1955, a son of the late Robert and Cathrine Griffith Merryman.
Gary was married on June 2, 1979, to his wife of 45 years, Tonja Snyder Merryman, who resides at their home in Clarksburg.
Also surviving are his son, Brad Merryman of Clarksburg; two sisters-in-law, Pam Amos of Clarksburg, and Sonja Griffith of Clarksburg; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Merryman, and brothers-in-law, Russell Amos and Jeffrey Griffith.
Gary was a graduate of Washington Irving High School Class of 1973 and retired in 2019 from Pepsi Company as Warehouse Foreman with 35 years of service.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor David Merryman presiding. Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
