Porter CornersGary F. Middlebrook, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He was born in Saratoga Springs, New York on November 22, 1949, to Frank L. and E. Irene Middlebrook.Gary graduated from Saratoga Springs High School with an autobody certificate from BOCES. He worked in autobody most of his life at various businesses (Heath Buick, Trice-Juron Ford, Topper Pontiac, Saratoga City School district transportation department) including owning his own shop. Upon retirement he continued to work alongside his son Toby for Middlebrook's Plumbing, Heating & AC.Gary was a jack of all trades and master of many including woodworking, cooking, gardening, beekeeping, and antique cars. He was a passionate and skilled wood craftsman making exquisite items including lathe-turned wooden bowls, jewelry boxes and furniture.Gary was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will be remembered most for his strong work ethic, generosity, and kindness.He was predeceased by his parents and brother Wayne Middlebrook. Gary is survived by his wife Bonnie, children Jamie Ellis (Gene) and Toby Middlebrook (Kristi); grandchildren Jaedyn and Klowee Middlebrook, Jazmine and Iris Ellis; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Rusty.A private family service was held, and Gary was laid to rest in Ingham Cemetery, Porter Corners.
