Gary, part of the "Silly Duet": When Gary and Vic Mussen were together, silliness always ensued! May both their spirits forever shine in our hearts and in our universe. This silly photo was taken June 19th, 2016.
Gary the softer side: Holding my son Branden, only 1 month old. Gary scooped up a just awaking Branden off of the sofa and just held him in his arms rocking him and talking softly to him while standing in the light of the family room window. That was Thanksgiving Day 1993, and a memory I am Thankful for. That memory, like a photo, is forever in my mind.
Gary, the Knight in Shining Armor: Our family was in the middle of a family health emergency. Gary swooped to the rescue and flew me to Orange County in his plane. The feeling of security I had that day of being in the air with Gary, the peacefulness that the flight gave to me to collect my thoughts and emotions in such a solitude way was like no other. The feeling that I was so close to heaven that if my mom tried to leave this earth, I could catch her mid-air and send her back down because I knew she wasn´t ready yet. How do you ever thank someone for this? This was a gift that I could never repay him for. This is a memory that will live in my heart forever. Thank you, Gary!
