Gary Osborne Obituary
Jacksonville - Gary L. Osborne, 82, of Jacksonville died Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at his daughter's home. He was born Oct. 1, 1943, in Sterling, the son of the late V. Lee and Jeane Brants Osborne. He married Corrine Dorathy, Apr. 26, 1964 and she preceded him in death Dec. 9, 2001.
Surviving are children, Lisa (Andrew) Martin of Virginia and Eric (Trish) Osborne of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Kyle (Sheryl) Dossett, Cody (partner, Heidi) Dossett, Blake, Ashlee and Hunter Osborne; two great grandchildren, Laityn and Sophia; sister, Sherrie; stepsister, Lonnie and several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his siter, Gloria Webster and stepbrother, Gale.
A visitation will be held 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at the Daws Family Funeral Home in Jacksonville with a private family burial. Memorials are suggested to the Bread of Love Program c/o Prairie Council on Aging. Condolences may be left at www.dawsfuneralhome.com

What a great guy Gary was. We've been friends for years. When he worked for Dugan's one Sunday he opened up the shop and helped me out with trailer tires. " Call the police" LOL He was the best.
