Just finding out that Gary Prince passed away. He was a really good laidback owner of Prescriptive Fitness on 54th Street in NYC. I was a member of that gym for many years in the 90's. I practically lived in the gym as I pursued a dance/acting career. Gary was always upbeat and easy going. I remember he was married at one point to one of my dancer friends, Ruthie. Not sure how long ago that was but, he was very popular with the ladies. a very good soul. He is dearly missed. R.I.P. Gary.

I met Gary in my late 20 s around 1988/90 at Prescriptive Fitness on 54th between bway n 8th Avenue next to the old Studio 54.I bonded with him since I played hoops and was in the Nightclub security industry,we had great talks and he took care of me with my membership $.There was a short time when I had no coverage and hurt my shoulder,Gary took care of me in his rehab office for almost nothing.I always considered him a stand up guy with a great heart, will miss you G man.Rest in peace big fella John Croghan/ Washington heights NYC

Dan Clores´ article in the New York Post was such an incredibly beautiful tribute to Gary Prince a beautiful human being! His description of Gary´s love of the game and how he described it, helped me relive my many years in 2nd Street Park, along side Gary Prince
May Gary´s memory serve as a blessing to all who knew him

Gary was a great friend and better human being. Thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, generous and hard working. Those qualities made him a great chiropractor and businessman. We would frequently reminisce about chiro school and all the comical events that transpired. I will miss those conversations and his friendship.
Big G, you didn´t deserve to go out that way. The world is a lesser place without you. I love and will always miss you.

Gary was my first friend. Lost touch when I moved from Brighton 12 to Brighton 13. Miss those days running around his apartment as a pre-teen. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I only have fond memories of Gary from our days in Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach. Most times on a Basketball court and at the Shorefront Y. What a horrible tragedy, what an incredible legacy he leaves behind. RIP Gary Prince

I was a classmate/friend of Gary´s back in the days of PS 225 in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. We were in the band together making music and enjoying childhood!
