Gary C. Riseley

Gary C. Riseley, 84, of Vici passed away on March 23, 2024 in Vici. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Vici Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Mahlon Richardson officiating.
Gary was born February 21, 1940 in Camargo to Dallas and Minnie Riseley. He graduated from Camargo in 1958. Gary married Wanda Lynes on May 27, 1960 in Woodward. They were married for 56 years until her passing on April 27, 2016. To this union was born two children Randy and Gayla Riseley. They moved to Dumas, Texas in 1968, where he work at Diamond Shamrock until his retirement in 1995 and then returned to Vici.
Gary married Gayla Hunter on January 7, 2023 in Woodward. Though brief, their time together was filled with love, laughter and cherished moments.
Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He loved to quail and deer hunt with his son and grandsons. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and traveling with Alaska being his favorite destination. Gary and Gayla were avid high school basketball and baseball fans and was seen at every game.
Gary was a devoted follower of Christ and a faithful member of Vici Church of the Nazarene.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Riseley; son, Randy Riseley; parents, Dallas and Minnie Riseley; and brother, Ivan Riseley.
Gary is survived by wife Gayla Riseley of the home; daughter Gayla Rigdon and husband C.D of Pampa, TX; daughter-in-law, Lauretta Riseley of Weatherford, OK; grandchildren, Gary Rigdon and wife Tina of Brownfield, TX, Zach Pate of Pampa, TX, Braye Riseley of Edmond, OK; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; five step grandchildren; fourteen step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Vici Church of the Nazarene or Victory Pentecostal Church
