Gary L. Rogers

Gary L. Rogers, 66, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Decatur, Gary was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and he worked as a Mixing Operator with B. F. Goodrich for 27 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God and the United Steel Workers Local 715. Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and who dreamed of playing with the Rolling Stones. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Tana Rogers of Fort Wayne; son, Aaron (Angie) Rogers of Fort Wayne; daughter, Tiffany (Mike) Blough of Huntertown; six grandchildren, Autumn and Amber Rogers and Kaylee, Victoria, Daniel and Lacie Blough; brother, Rick Rogers of Daly City, CA; brother in law, Jerrid Amsden of Fort Wayne. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Katherine (Zinn) Rogers. Funeral Service is 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
