Gary Rosland Obituary

He was born on April 20, 1945, in rural Marion to Orville and Johanna (Dobler) Rosland. He grew up in rural Marion and received his schooling at Gladstone School #2. He graduated from Marion High School in 1963. Gary then went to work on the family farm where he spent his entire life. He retired in 2016. Gary became a resident at the Heritage Home in Jamestown in 2022 where he resided up until the time of his passing. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, racing cars, drag racing and riding motorcycle.
Gary is survived by his sister, Sonja (Curt) Rogness of Jamestown and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry and Clifton.
The funeral service for Gary will be Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home in LaMoure with visitation being held for one hour prior. Burial will take place in the spring at High Prairie Cemetery.
