Gary "Butch" Rowe, 77, of Marion Center passed away on Saturday November 29, 2025 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born to John William "Bill" and Fern B. (Barr) Rowe in Indiana.

Butch served in the Army Reserve from 1967-1974. He worked at R&P and Helen Mining as a mining foreman. He then became a custodial supervisor at the Marion Center School District before his retirement. Butch was a member of the First Church of Marion Center, Clymer American Legion, a 30-year member of the Marion Center Volunteer Fire Department and a former president of the Marion Center Council. Butch enjoyed hunting fishing, gardening. Most of all Butch loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Deborah K. (Davis) Rowe, Marion Center, three daughters, Tammy Lynn Brewer and husband Kenneth, Indiana, Tina Kay Catanzarito and husband Dominic, II, Punxsutawney, Tricia Anne Gatskie and husband Nathan, Marion Center, six grandchildren, Allison Buchsbaum, Brittany Lowther (Christopher), Kaylin Smith, Dana Smith, Mikayla Gatskie (Kayden), Blake Gatskie, four brothers, Ronald McCoy and wife Sharon, John W. Rowe, Jr. and wife Marcia, Donald, Denny and a sister Ruth and numerous nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Cindy Parente and niece AmyJo Parente, brother-in-law Donald Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends will be received on Saturday December 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the First Church of Marion Center, 204 West Main St., Marion Center, PA 15759, with Pastor Kyle Eisenhuth officiating.

Interment will take place at Marion Center Cemetery.
