Gary Runte Obituary
Gary was a pressman at Quebec-Kable News in Mt. Morris for 40 years. He was a member of the Stephenson and Ogle County Farm Bureau's. He enjoyed going on trips, sitting at the farm, watching his grandchildren, camping, boating, and fishing.
Gary is survived by his son, Luke (Laura) Runte of Polo, Il; two sisters, Julie Golden of Newton, KS and Diane (Robert) Kuelling of Forreston, IL; and five grandchildren, Logan Runte, Cielo Runte, Kayden Barndt, James Runte, and Finnegan Runte.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Gwen Runte.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 25, 2023 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport (504 N. Walnut Avenue). Visitation will be from 4-7:00 P.M. Tuesday also at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport, IL. A memorial has been established in Gary's memory.
