Gary Leigh Russell

Gary and I met at PVAMU (then Prairie View A&M College) in 1966, and we became good friends. He would often spend weekends in Houston with my family. Sadly down through the years we lost touch and I was sorry to hear of his passing...gone but certainly not forgotten "Old Friend"!

Gary was a kind spirited man. He protected us in the club back in the day. We didn´t even know him however he watched out for us young ladies. We got to know him after that and realized his kind heartedness was genuine

Gary my Travis County friend and co-worker, thank you for all you time spent on the weekly football pools that you added to your busy schedule. You had us all going the right way/wrong way. You are a champion you did things the right way. You will be greatly missed by all at Travis County.
