Gary Seidt Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Gary Seidt, age 66, of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2025. Born October 19, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of William Ernest Seidt and Mary (née Turner), and stepson of Roe Ritt. Gary was raised in the Juniata section of Philadelphia, where he met the love of his life, Joyce Seidt (née Motta), his devoted wife of more than 45 years.

Gary was the proud father of Brian Seidt (Carly) and Tiffany Seidt Leone (Sam), and the cherished grandfather of Brian Jr., Cheyenne, Marissa, Luca, and Eliyanah. He is also survived by his brother William Seidt (Ellen) and sister Pat Gallagher (Bill), and will be deeply missed by many extended family members and close friends.

From a young age, Gary worked a variety of jobs before building a lifelong career as a member of the Carpenter's Union. He loved his work and proudly retired at the age of 56. Gary was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand and would go out of his way for anyone in need, right up to the very last moments of his life. He could always be found fixing something-whether around his own home, his children's homes, or wherever help was needed. He enjoyed working on cars and tinkering with his motorcycle. He had many birdhouses he collected from family hung around his beautiful holly tree.

He loved to sit in his recliner and watch the birds. Gary also had a gift for storytelling; his wild and unforgettable tales were loved by everyone who heard them. Above all, he was a devoted family man.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. His Funeral Mass will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
