Louisville - Gary Tate, of Louisville, Oh, passed away on 3/3/26 at the age of 70. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, generosity, and deep love for his family and friends.

Born on March 19, 1955, he grew into a man known for his steady presence, his loyalty, and the way he showed care through actions more than words. Ever the Boy Scout, Gary found his greatest joy in the outdoors, where he loved camping, swimming, and gathering with friends and family around a warm bonfire. Whether offering guidance, lending a hand, or simply showing up when it mattered most, he made the people around him feel supported and never alone.

He is survived by his brother, James Richard (Rick) Tate, and his three daughters, Corrie, Jennifer, and Stephanie, who will forever carry his lessons, his humor, and his unwavering love in their hearts. His family takes comfort in knowing he lives on in the values he instilled, the lives he touched, and the memories they shared.

Per his wishes, no services will be held. Instead, we invite you to honor his memory in whatever way feels most personal and meaningful to you.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
