As we approach the 3rd anniversary of your passing, there are still times I go to pick up the phone to talk to you!
I know you are at peace and I have certainly felt your presence several times. Thanks for letting me know you´re ok.

I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that as you move through your grief, that you are surrounded by the unconditional love of friends and family. This journey will be difficult, but I promise you WILL find your new normal. There is no "right" amount of time to get there- just know that you will.

Gary was more than a colleague of mine, he was my friend. He was always willing to listen and was a fierce advocate for his fellow union brothers and sisters.

I had the pleasure of working with him- as I work at Nassau County's EAP and he would refer members to me frequently.

I always looked forward to seeing him at our annual holiday party because he would welcome me with THE BEST hug.

I will continue to pray for you and please know that he will always be right next to you-
..There are no coincidences: a soft breeze, a song on the radio, a cardinal...he will send you signs that he is there, watching over you.
