I had the pleasure of dealing with Gary for almost 30 years. He exemplified the qualities of a true gentlemen, grace, ethics, nuance and above all subtlety. As we both morphed into octogenarian status we regularly chatted about politics and history with special emphasis on Winston Churchill and FDR.
I can only begin to imagine the deep loss the extended Walther clan has to shoulder. He will be missed.
