In loving memory of Gavin Riley Harmon, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and boyfriend of Kylee Stokes, who tragically left this world on Monday, April 29, 2024, due to a devastating accident. Born on April 30, 2008, in Bolivar, Gavin touched the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter, kind heart, and bright smile.
Though his time with us was cut short, Gavin's impact will forever be remembered by all who knew him. Gavin is survived by his loving family, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. As we grieve the loss of such a young life, let us remember Gavin for the joy he brought into our lives and the memories we shared with him.
Gavin was preceded in death by his grandma, Juanita Griffin, and great-grandpa, James Francka.
He is survived by his parents Gerald and Tommie Jo Francka of Bolivar; his siblings, Savannah Hutchinson and husband, Nathan, and nephew, Callan; Kyle Francka and wife, Meagan, and nieces, Henley and Harper; Grace Harmon and boyfriend, Loyal Neil; Gabriella Harmon, and Ganeshia Lyman; biological parents, Jonathon Harmon and Heather Harmon; his girlfriend, Kylee Stokes; grandparents, Betty and Merwin Harmon and Jeffrey Francka and Denna Tosh; great-grandma, Carolyn Francka, and many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at Pitts Chapel in Bolivar, providing an opportunity for friends and loved ones to celebrate his life and mourn his passing together. May we find solace in each other's company as we navigate this difficult time. Graveside services to honor Gavin's life will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Karlin Cemetery in Bolivar.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Gavin's honor to support causes close to his heart. May Gavin find eternal peace and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Gavin Riley Harmon.
