It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gayle Arceneaux. She passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025 surrounded by her family in Lakewood, Colorado. Gayle was born on September 1, 1937 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She married her husband, Robert, on May 30, 1959 before moving to Denver, Colorado in 1969 where she and Robert raised a family of five children. Gayle will be remembered for her active role in parish life, her love of playing bridge and her joy for reading.
She is survived by her husband Robert, her children Mark, Michael, Louise (Clay Allison), Yvette (Paul Landwehr), Nicole (Scott Murphy) and her seven grandchildren, Stephen Allison, Cameron Allison, Caitlin Allison Spann (Tony Spann), Emily Landwehr, Hannah Landwehr, Ryan Murphy and Haley Murphy.
She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
