Gayle Eichelberger

Gayle Eichelberger, 79, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away September 21, 2025. She was born September 9, 1946, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Buzz Heckrotte and Hazel Caski. Gayle was a very Godly woman and was a member of Agape Fellowship in Fayetteville, PA. She enjoyed attending the women's and widows groups in Chambersburg. She retired from Adult Probation after many years. Gayle was very well respected and loved by anyone who knew her. She enjoyed singing, traveling, cooking, and baking. She loved her animals, Smokey and Trouble, and spending time with her family.

Gayle is survived by her children; Kimberly Brandt, Lisa Anger, Paul Hackmann, Beth Boyd, adopted son, Bear, grandchildren; Sean (husband of Courtney) Concannon, Austin Concannon, Christina Hackmann, Melissa Jacobs, Amber Hackmann, Kayla, Samantha, Jessica, and twelve great-grandchildren, sister; Lynn (wife of Clark) Fisher, sister-in-law Carol Heckrotte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Linn "Ike" Eichelberger, brother Wayne Heckrotte.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg, with Pastor Mike Rodriguez and Pastor Rod Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
