Westminster – Gayle Tama Underwood, 69, loving partner of Salvatore Claps, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born on June 9, 1956, in Bronx, New York, Gayle was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ruth Goldberg Moskowitz.
Gayle retired from AT&T, where she dedicated many years to serving others through her work in human resources. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially cooking and gardening, and she generously shared her time as a volunteer with Go for the Gold and Ribbons of Hope. Above all, Gayle was a devoted mother and grandmother, her greatest happiness came from the love she had for her family, and her grandchildren were the true joy of her life.
Gayle is survived by her beloved partner, Salvatore Claps; daughters, Rachel Underwood (Joe Dulac), Melissa Underwood; brother, Scott Moskowitz; sister, Bari Gulsby; and grandchildren, Holden Dulac and Isla Dulac.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
