Gelsomina Castelli Obituary
Gelsomina "Jessie" R. Castelli, 86 of Belleville, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in her home, surrounded by family. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Jessie was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Clara (Celini) Epifanio. The beloved wife of the late Robert Castelli, Jessie is survived by her children Tony Castelli, Dawn Miele, and husband Kenny, Jimmy Castelli, and wife Michele; five grandchildren Danielle Miele, Kenny Miele, Nicolette Palumbo and husband Dre, Gionna Aramando and husband Sam, Gabrielle Castelli and husband John; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Jerry Epifanio, Frank Epifanio, and Rose Sinopoli.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM at Holy Family Church, Nutley. The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, North Arlington.
