Gene Autry "Bobby" Carter

I just found out yesterday that Bobbie had passed away. I am so very sorry as i considered a good friend. He had picked me up several times and took me to the race at southside and brought me home too.The last time i was with him was when his daughter, whom i had known since she was a little girl, and her granddaughter were there.My health problems wouldn`t allow me to return. I tried to call several times to to avail, now i know why.I am so very sorry and hope you get this.

Dear Joyce and Stacy,

I was shocked and very saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. Seems like just yesterday at Brenda and Dougs you were talking about how much he loved the little granddaughters.I am so sorry he will not be around to help out with them anymore but I am sure he will be looking out for them from heaven. I hope that all the good memories you created together will help
you adjust to this great loss. My love and prayers are with you all.

Gene Carter aquired the nickname "Uncle Bob" after a hilarious encounter him and my dad had. All our days spent with Uncle Bob and my family are funny stories and good memories. He loved laughing at us playing dress-up, joking he was always, "turning 28" every birthday. The love he had for our family, his family, his friends, and Freckles and Lady was tremendous. He was nothing but good to us and will truly be missed. Please know we will always have him in our prayers and are always here for you guys no matter what. Love You :)
