Gene Caudill Obituary
A native of Asheboro, NC, he was the husband of Elaine Frye Caudill, who survives and the son of Ray D. Caudill and Marie Auman Caudill, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from UNC Public Television. Gene was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham and was active in the church for as long as his health allowed.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include his daughter, Sherri Lewis; a granddaughter, Ashley Lewis; two sisters, Mae Auman and Sarah Cox (Ricky); and two brothers, Roy Caudill (Ann) and Carl Caudill. He was preceded in death by a brother, Max Caudill and sister, Clara Auman.
A memorial service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Graham at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2026 by Pastor Duane Partin.
The family will receive friends in the church parlor one hour prior to the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Graham.
