Gene Carol Ferrell, 73, of Wilson passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 -7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Gene served his country with honor and pride during the Vietnam War with the Army from July 27, 1971 – April 26, 1974.
Gene is survived by his sons, Cliffard W. Ferrell and Chad E. Ferrell and wife, Tonya; granddaughter, Madison Rose Ferrell; grandson, Chase Bradley Ferrell; sisters, Sarah E. Howard, Barbara Fenn, “Susie” Holland and husband, Danny, Audrey Gardner and husband, Wayne, and Shug Everett; brother, Glenn Ferrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Sarah Ferrell; brothers, Charles Ferrell, Henry Ferrell, R.W. Ferrell, Herman Ferrell, and Michael Ferrell.
