Gene Fogle Obituary
Born December 27, 1942 in Woodsboro, he was the son of the late Austin and Mary Devilbiss Fogle.
Gene was a generous soul who would do anything for anybody. He owned and operated H.M. Fogle Septic Tank Business for several years in addition to working as a plumber and maintenance for FCPS, where he retired. Gene was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything. Gene was a member of the American Legion (Woodsboro) and the Redmen Club (Frederick).
In addition to his wife, Gene is survived by his children, Harlene Jackson, Sharon Tyeryar, Harvey Snoots Jr. (Lisa), Sally Fogle, Carolyn Austin, Gene Van Riper and Roger Van Riper, 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, sisters, Patsy Fogle and Linda Fogle, brothers, Larry Fogle (Mary), Tex Fogle (Carol), Tom Fogle (Phyllis), numerous nieces and nephews.
Gene was preceded in death by daughter Gidget Tyeryar (Mitch) and son-in-law, Richard Tyeryar, siblings, Doreen Heffner, Treva Speak, Betty Fogle, Delores Fogle and Arthur Fogle.
The Immediate family may privately view Mr. Fogle from 10am to 11am and the family will receive guest from 11am to 12pm, on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will follow at 12pm. Interment will be at Rocky Hill Cemetery, Woodsboro. There will be a gathering after the burial that will be announced at the funeral.
