Uncle Gene was the bright spot in your day if your paths crossed. He would have you smiling and laughing with his recollection of the past and tremendous laugh.
He was as kind and generous as any man could be, especially to his sister Verton in her last years.
His zest for life and compassion for others is truly reflected in the love for his wife Diane and how together they raised two fine, respectable men, Alex and Jared.
Our loss is but temporary, as
I´m certain we will see Gene Rieden again when we too stand in the Glory of God.
Farewell for now Uncle Gene.

Rest in peace Uncle Gene. You fought the fight like a champ. As the obituary mentions, Uncle Gene was one of the kindest humans I know, always there to help a neighbor, family or friends in need. I often joked with him that when St. Peter sees him in the line for heaven he will just wave him in, no questions asked. He, together with Diane raised two very wonderful boys, Alex and Jared. In my mother´s final years, he always made her laugh and was a bright spot for her during his frequent visits. You will be greatly missed Uncle Gene.
