Gene was so supportive of our ministry of Teen Mission USA. He was on the first board of directors, serving many years.
He was a great man of God and a special friend.

I met Gene and Mary Helen , their two sons when they moved to Winston Salem North Carolina. Gene was our minister at Pinedale Christian Church.
He did not know a stranger. He welcomed everyone. They welcomed me in their home. I was a part of their family for years , even when they went back to
Kentucky, they made sure I was there with their family for Thanksgiving.
He was a Faithful Minister of God. He preached God's Word without fear.
He was caring, humble. He and Mary Helen demonstrated God's love.
He loved to laugh , sing, preach, give, and don't forget the Kentucky Wildcats(Hahaha), my favorite too. He loved His wife and family.
Gene: Will always be a special part in my memory book. You are now Safe In The Arms of Jesus. There is a song that says: LIFE IS A GIFT and your life's a Gift.
Mary Helen, Dave and Kim, John and Sue, Grand children, greatgrands, you are in my prayers. I love you all so much.
We know where Gene is and we will see him again. He is with our SPECIAL FRIEND JESUS.
With love,
Olga
