Eugene Laurence White, 83, of Sobieski, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025 at his home. He was born on March 3, 1942 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Morrow) White in Green Bay, WI.
Gene had a love of all things mechanical, frequently racing dirt track cars, and fixing them up with his brothers. He was an avid Horsemen, and he shared that passion with his family. He inspired many family members to get their own horses, or instilled a love of the animal in them with his horses and mini ponies. Gene was an outdoorsman, who loved every opportunity he was given to hunt whitetail deer or anytime he got to spend in nature. He always had a smart mouth, and shared that humor with everyone. He was honest, approachable, and loved. Gene will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.
Gene is survived by his loving children; Liz White, and Chad (Eva Schnecke) White, and his 2 granddaughters; Sam, and Isabelle. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his puppy Hank.
He is preceded in death by many of his beloved family members, his friends, and many horses, and dogs.
Per Gene's wishes, there will be a private celebration of life in the future.
Gene's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Bierhals for always being there for Gene, regularly checking up on him, taking him hunting, and letting him become part of their family.
