Geneva Susan Evans

Mrs. Geneva Suzanne Hall Evans, 93, of Lancaster, widow of Raymond "Pete" Evans, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at her home. She was born July 14, 1933 in Kershaw, a daughter of the late Otis Hall and Myrline Ellis Hall. Mrs. Evans was a member of Zion Methodist Church. She enjoyed growing her flowers and creating plastic canvas. Mrs. Evans loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She loved her church and her church family. Mrs. Evans was a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Evans will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Burgess and Rev. Steve Moseley officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Evans is survived by a son, Bennie B. Moseley, Jr. (Susan); two daughters, Julia "Becky" Barton and Gail Moseley; a sister, Joann Outen; five grandchildren, Laura Jordan (Kevin), Bennie B. "Benjie" Moseley III (Joy), Lisa Culton, Bryan Moseley (Brandi) and Carla Pierce (Mike); eight great-grandchildren, Chase Parker, Bree Brooks, Austin Brooks, Brooklynn Moseley, Brock Moseley, Bricynn Moseley, Garrison Moseley and Cullen Lemoine; and one great-great grandchild, Emerie Parker.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Zion Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Methodist Church Building Fund, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
