A Graveside service celebrating the life of Geneva Farris, 85, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Carmel, Louisiana, with Deacon Bill Klienpeter officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. December 17, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home 943 Polk St. Mansfield, Louisiana.
Geneva was born on March 28, 1940 to James Gary Farris and Mary Izora Lafitte and passed away on December 10, 2025 in Stonewall, Louisiana.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Curtis Farris, and Calvin Farris; and daughter, Sharon Blevins Procopio.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Danny Rothell and Benjamin Rothell; daughters, Sherry Blevins Billings and Evette Rothell; grandchildren, Angela Wilson, Mallory Helloms, Stephen Rothell, Sara Ochoa, and Maggie Gocinski; great grandchildren, Shawn Bennett, Brady Helloms, Katrina Rothell, Claudia Rothell, and Raelynn Rothell.
