Mrs. Geneva Joyce Upchurch, age 89 of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 2:25 AM at her residence.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church, 1008 West Cedar St. Franklin, KY 42134.
Geneva was born October 14, 1935 in Durant, OK to the late Jack Hamm and the late Zelma (Courtney) Hamm. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Upchurch; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
She is survived by 3 children, Patricia Gail Decker (Michael) of Franklin, KY, Jackie Upchurch (Chris) of McNeal, AZ and Julie Kozel (Mark) of Rocky Face, GA; 9 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
Geneva was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, working word puzzles, crafts and love to entertain friends and family.
