Genevieve M. Gray, (Gen) went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2021. She was a resident of Fishers, IN. She was born February 14, 1923 in Fulton County, IN. Her parents were Ellis and Mary McNabb – deceased. She married Ronald E. Gray – deceased Dec 23, 2006 – on November 18, 1942. Other survivors include a daughter, Claudia G. Benyon, two grandchildren Alison (Paul) Riccio and Christopher Benyon. A son, Ronald E. Gray Jr. preceded her in death in 1970. She is also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She attended Indiana University, taught pre-school for 15 years, a homemaker, leader in the 1970's in Lay Ministry, Faith at Work, in the Midwest with her husband. She was a founding member of Symphonic Choir, South Bend, IN, a leader in a weekly Bible Study in Greenwood, member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church.

A Viewing and Celebration will be held at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6111 Shelby St. on November 27, 2021, visitation at 12:00 pm and celebration at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, 16460 Cleveland Rd., Granger, In 46530. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church Senior's Ministry.

Services will be in the Chapel at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN at 11:00 am on November 29th, 2021.

I loved Gen dearly - I considered her as a mentor. Whenever I needed deep prayer or just someone to share with and heed their advice, I called Gen. She was one of the most spiritual people I have ever known, and I'm sure she is already in heaven singing in the choir.
