Publish in a newspaper

Age 101.

Genevieve was married to Felix Lupinski for 73 ½ years. They had 4 children: Joyce, Dan, Mary, and Mike. 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The newest being baby Felix born in Poland in 2023.

Genevieve was happiest when spending time with her family and being involved with her grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking, and crocheting.

Genevieve was an accomplished artist. She loved painting flowers and landscapes. She was a Detroit Tigers fan and loved sitting under the Terrace at Comerica Park for many years to watch baseball.

Our Mother loved being in Detroit especially on Woodward Avenue and always looked for the Kern's Clock, Comerica Park, Fox Theatre, Hart Plaza, and the Detroit River as well as the walkway where her name brick is close to the Detroit River. Genevieve always said, "if you know where the river is you will never get lost."

Genevieve was a devoted wife, great mother, great grandmother, a friend, and devoted to her Catholic faith. Most of all, Genevieve loved her family.

In her last years, Genevieve was cared for in her home by her two granddaughters; Julie Jaworski and Jennifer Jaworski, along with her children.

Genevieve turned 100 years old on August 14, 2024. She was celebrated with a nice dinner.

Mom we are happy you are reunited with dad, your beloved husband of 73 years. Rest in peace. Mom, we will all miss you.

In State Friday 9:30am until the 10am Funeral Service at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 20710 Colgate Street, Dearborn Heights (south of Outer Drive, between Monroe and Pelham).
