Genevieve King "Genny" Purvis

Genevieve (Genny) Denise King Purvis, age 50 of Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025.
She was born on February 13, 1975 at 8:59pm in Tampa, Florida, and family moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia, in 1981. She was a few hours short from being a Valentine baby.
Genny is survived by her parents, Ronald and Connie King; her daughter, Addisyn Brooke Purvis; her son, Payton William Purvis. Genny absolutely loved her children.
She was a graduate of Stone Mountain High School and won State Title in gymnastics.
Genny was accepted to Auburn University and earned a full scholarship on the gymnastics team, graduating with a marketing degree. She leaves behind a circle of friends that she adored. She was part of a group of alumni, that will be sister's forever.
She also leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Genny will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00pm until time of service at the funeral home.
