Genevieve Seminole Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home - Miles City on Sep. 19, 2025.
Genevieve Seminole, beloved Cheyenne mother, aunt, and (Bahma) grandma. Many lives will grieve but not be broken. No matter where we are, she will always be with us. She will always have love through us as one whole.

Her beading was flawless as her paintings and any projects she has ever done. She put her love in all her work. She was amazing and still is through the souls she brought light to. She is a beautiful soul who caught a lot of hearts. She was amazing in so many ways. She created a world of wonders, a tribe of her own who she is proud of making. Her hands are amazing art. She knew many things. She is a princess, a queen who has seen a lot and been through times of true fight for life. She was mother superior in Miles City for one day before getting left alone by herself and finding her way back home to start a new life meeting a strong courageous fearlessly loving German from across the ocean, named Gerhard Walter Stern who also just has taken the journey on June 27, 2025, this year. Helped create this family of wonders we have today believing she followed with a broken heart, but now together again with comfort and joy.

Just know they were strong and will always be with us. The experiences with her were actual miracles of an angel teaching and showing us paths to take. Her smile made the sunshine and the butterflies tingle with joy. Her love was strong and now even stronger singing through the clouds and stars. This woman was the only human being we could ever truly call a friend, our best friend. She has touched many of our hearts. Always we love you, Genevieve. We will see you soon, journey well.

Genevieve is survived by her children: Gerhard (Gerry), Lynden Seminole, Genny, Sonja, Sohnie Stern Ateara LittleCoyote, Travis and Lex.
