Genoveva Diosdado was born on January 3, 1940, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, and passed away on September 6, 2025, at her residence in Balch Springs, Texas.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rosalio Diosdado; her children, José Jaime Valdez and wife Aurora Valdez, Roberto Valdez and wife Leslie Diaz, and Mireya Padilla and husband Luis Padilla. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Roberto Tovar Jr., Jaime Valdez Jr., Luis Padilla Jr., Roberto Valdez Jr., Amanda Padilla, Francis Padilla, Jamiee Valdez, Beverly Valdez, Jasmine Valdez, Xavier Valdez, Kristine Valdez, Roxann Valdez, Valerie Valdez, and Alexandra Valdez; as well as her great-grandchild.

Genoveva was known for her love of collecting perfumes and miniature bells. She was a devoted grandmother who adored her plants and always surrounded herself with family. Family meant everything to her, and she found joy in every moment spent with them.

She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
