Rev. Dr. Geoffrey S. Ellis

I will always remember you as a man of faith, humility, compassion and stern aptitude! It was because of you I found my footsteps in christ and you baptized me.
Your impact to people you came in contact with, you left an impression, I always admired how dear you was as a family man, to Mrs Ellis and your children, I appreciate every word of wisdom you gave me, every sermon preached an jus your character.
Rest in peace may God unfailing hand touch the family, friends, and associates, my condolences!

My condolences to all the family of Rev, Geoff Ellis. He was a good man and I'm better for having crossed his path.

I am saddened to hear of Geoff's passing. When I served in Louisville in the 1990s at Audubon Park UMC Geoff and I became friends working with the Kentuckiana Interfaith community on the Racial Justice Commission. His commitment and faith in Christ have always been an inspiration for me in my life. Geoff and I decided to swap pulpits one Sunday where I went to his congregation and came to mine. It has been one of the highlights of my ministry. Geoff told me he was never doing that again because I did not preach as long as he did and his congregation liked me better :). Our world and Louisville is a better place because Rev. Geoffrey Ellis walked among us. He is now with the Church Victorious.

To the family of Rev Geoffrey Ellis may God provide you peace and comfort during the loss of your beloved one.

To the Ellis family, I´ve known Geoff since I was a little girl, and he and my brother, Waverly Jefferson were childhood friends. The news of Geoff´s passing was so hurtful. I pray that God will bless, keep and comfort each of you.

Being the wonderful Asbury Chapel AME Church Superintendent... he was a very good man that loved his church and he taught me alot about the church as well as 1 on 1 life lessons that I very much so applied in my current life ; he will be dearly missed
