George Edward Adolphson, 90, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Born in Coalmont, PA, he lived in Randolph, OH (Atwater). He served in the United States Army and retired from Goodyear after 43 years. George was a member of Mogadore Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, men’s softball, and miniature trains. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his large family.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Earl and Olive Alene (Clark) Adolphson; brothers, Ray and Ellis; sisters, Fay and Gloria; and grandson, Earl. He is survived by his sons, Edward (Barbara), Gregory (Olivia), and Eric; daughter, Earlene Dukek; grandchildren, Duane, Amy, David, Jonathan, Jason, Joshua, Heather, Joel, Hannah, Grace, Victoria, and Jennifer; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, plus one in the oven; and brother, Neil (Lynett) of Rockwood, PA.

All are welcome Friday, April 7th from 12 to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312, to join the Adolphson family to celebrate George’s going home to the Lord. Pastor Forest Greetham will begin the service at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park at 2 p.m.
