George Adrian Obituary
LOUDONVILLE~ George L. Adrian II went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 24, 2025, in his home at the age of 64.
He was born on July 6th, 1960, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to parents George & Sylvia (Thomas) Adrian. George's family later relocated to a farm in Danville, Ohio, where he graduated from Danville High School in the class of 1978.
His parents instilled a strong work ethic in him, which he used while working at Kokosing Construction Company, The Ohio Laborers Union, and a local nursery. He generously volunteered regularly at the Loudonville Mobile Food Pantry and New Hope Mobile Food Pantry.
He was a devout Christian, outdoorsman, avid gardener, enjoyed hunting, was enthralled with nature and science. He was an eager member of the Loudonville Gardeners Guild and was awarded a Blue Ribbon two years running. He enjoyed waking up to a fresh cup of daily coffee, baking, watching football, and helping others in any way he could. He also was very handy around the house. George was known by the people who loved him as brave, tenacious, joyous, faith-filled, funny, gregarious, generous with his time, and innocently precious. He was an original, one of a kind, kindred spirit whose soul lifted others up and will be dearly missed. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone and disliked by no one.
He is survived by the pride and joy of his life, his daughter Danielle Brooke Adrian and grandson Rylan Jaxton Adrian; his mother Sylvia Adrian; his brothers Rick Adrian, Alan Adrian, Joe (Lisa) Adrian, Jeff (Cindy) Adrian, and Jim Adrian; his sisters Pam (Chris) Tuttle, Laura (Chris) Segraves, Mary (Raymond) Henderson, and Gay Biffath & Stan Deibert; and many beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his father, George L. Adrian I; his sister, Carol (Ken) Barnette; his niece Andrea Wolfe, and nephews Bryan Wolfe, Garrick Tuttle, and Hunter Adrian.
George's family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home-Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville, with a funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate, and burial will follow at Workman Cemetery, Danville.
