I was very sorry to learn of the passing of George. He and my husband, the late Dick Fisher, were very good friends early on in their teaching careers. My thoughts and prayers go out especially to his daughters and the rest of the family.

I was saddened to hear of George's passing. George was a kind man with a big heart. He always had a joke and would greet you with a huge smile. George was admired by the many youths he coached over the years. He left a lasting impression on many. May his memory be eternal. Col. John E. Gavrilis

George Antonas was one of the kindest, most caring people I had the honor of working with. His sense of humor, his love for his students was so obvious that the rest of us wanted to emulate him. I remember when he coached the girls basketball team and often they were lucky to score in the double digit range. George always made sure the girls were not disappointed and let them know how proud he was of them.
I will miss seeing George at Costco with his brother and buddies. Costco should really engrave his name on one of the seats.
My best to Georges family. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.

My condolences to the Antonas family. We lost a great man but God has gained another angel. May the angels of heaven prepare you to enter into God's Holy Kingdom where you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever with all of your loved ones who passed before you and may perpetual light shine upon you forever! You will be truly missed Mr. George but your memories and your corny jokes will be eternal.
