George Belgarde Obituary
In his retirement, George enjoyed fly fishing for trout, restoring model trains, particularly Lionel models, antique trucks, and flea marketing. He also served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by five children, George P. Belgarde, Jr., Sherri Kennedy, Mary Crittenden, Mathew Belgarde, and John Belgarde, many grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert Belgarde.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 9-11 am, followed by a service at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or at HopeHealth Hospice.
