George V. Boudreau Sr. was the third of seven children born to Joseph and Florence (Carriveau) Boudreau. He was born and raised in central Massachusetts, leaving school early to proudly serve his country in the United States Marine Corp achieving the rank of lance corporal. George worked in manufacturing in several local businesses and also was a delivery driver for a local lumber yard delivering cordwood as well as supplies. In his later years, George was known as the "Marine Vet Scrap Metal Guy" in Ware MA. Through this endeavor many clients became friends, and George was well loved and respected. His circle of friends ranged from the local people and businesses to the State Police in Barre. He was admired for his work ethic and his trustworthiness. George was truly a man of great character and loyalty. Sadly, George lost his battle with cancer. He will be forever missed by his family, extended family and many friends. George was predeceased by his brothers Skipper and Lenny, his sons Jonathan Gibson and Jeffery Boudreau and his wife Diane (Chartier) Boudreau.

Surviving George are his devoted sons, George Jr., and Christopher Gibson along with multiple grandchildren. Private services were held at the Agawam Funeral Home followed by committal with full military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

George will be greatly missed.
