George Box Obituary
MORRIS - George Herbert Box, Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2025 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
Born in Torrington, Conn., on March 31, 1958, he was the son of the late George H. Box, Sr. and Edna (Barto) Box.
George grew up in Morris, Conn. and graduated from WAMOGO Regional High School. He was a machinist for A.J. Truck Company for many years, retiring in 2021.
He will be missed by his daughter, Kira Box of Morris.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
