George Brezinka Obituary
Honoring George's wishes, there will be no funeral or services. Caring for George and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.
George was born and grew up in the Opole, Elmdale area. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Mattson in 1974. They resided in Minneapolis, where George worked at Harmon Glass for 42 years. He held various positions during that time. They retired to their lake home on Big Swan Lake in 1995, then moved to Little Falls in 2018. George enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, helping his brothers with field work and harvesting. He was always happy to help anyone with anything.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy of Little Falls; grandchildren, Zachary (Hailey) Brezinka of Lake Elmo, MN, Carli (Robert) Erickson of Andover, MN; five great-granddaughters, Sophia, Amelia, Isabelle, Mila, Macklin; brothers, Robert, Daniel, David; sisters, Betty Brezinka, Mary Jo Lobin, Fay Post; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Johanna Brezinka; son, Bradley Brezinka; sisters, Ann Kiley, Eleanor Doroff, Josephine Piotrowski, Francis Lashinski, Judith Hennes; brothers, Leo, Louis, Carl, Frank, John, Lawrence, Clarence and Richard.
