We had the pleasure of being friends with Andy since 1982 when he became "Bear in the Air". We maintained his patrol plane for 20 years. While sitting at his memorial service on Friday and listening to his friends and colleagues relate stories of Andy's life we thought of hundreds more that we could have shared. Andy was a perfect example of what a FHP trooper should be and when you had Andy for a friend it was for life. Through the years we came to know Andy's family and remember the day Tucker was born was the proudest and happiest day of his life. Andy will always remain in our memories and he also has a special place in our hearts.

I know that Andy is with God and His loved ones are in God's heart.

We were childhood freinds. Heartfelt sorrow and the fondest of memories are a only few of the emotions in play at our house.
