George Ralph Brunt Sr.

George Ralph Brunt, Sr., affectionately known as Ralph, passed away suddenly on October 29, 2025, at the age of 86.
Ralph was born on August 16, 1939, in Passaic, New Jersey, to George Nicholson and Clydie Ellis Brunt. He spent most of his life in Georgia, where he built a lifetime of friendships, memories, and accomplishments before retiring to Port St. Lucie, Florida, where he passed peacefully in his home.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Ralph was also a passionate and accomplished bowler. A proud member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) for more than 65 years, he competed in and won numerous tournaments, including his most notable victory in 1982. He was well known and deeply respected in the Atlanta, Georgia bowling community for his skill, sportsmanship, and lifelong love of the game.
Ralph's Catholic faith was the foundation of his life. A devoted member of the Church, he lived each day with kindness, humility, and generosity, offering a steady example of faith and strength to his family and friends.
Ralph was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Gene Brunt, in 2024. He is survived by his four children: Ralph Brunt, Jr., Gerry Brunt, Butch Brunt, and Teri Rutledge; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Lee Palmer; and his brother-in-law, Robert Churchill. His family and friends will forever cherish the love, laughter, and guidance he shared with them throughout his remarkable life.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida. A viewing will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at All County Funeral Home and Crematory, 1616 SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard in Port St. Lucie, followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of other tributes, flowers may be sent to All County Funeral Home in Port St. Lucie.
Ralph will be remembered for his warmth, humor, competitive spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
