George Burks Obituary
George was born to George and Pearlie Burks. He graduated Bishop Hartley High School and Columbus State University. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from Lucent Technology.
George was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle who will be sadly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Pearlie Burks.
George leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Barbara; Daughters, Dagayla Burks and Ashley Burks Moore (Franklin); Grandchildren, Franklin, Ashton, Jasmynn, Christian, Caiden and Jhaelynn; Brother, Paul Burks (Jeannette) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at Diehl-Whittaker Funeral Service 1370 East Main Street Columbus, Ohio 43205.
