I am so sorry about George's passing. He was one of my favorite people. Always kind and had a good word for everyone. I'm sure his family and friends will miss him greatly. My heart is with you and the family. Please accept my condolences at your loss.

You are one of the loveliest people I have ever known and you made such an impression on me when I was your student intern with Hospice in 1984. I had met George a few times back then and he was just as wonderful as you. My heart is with you and your family.

I am so sorry to read about George Cooper's death, having known him and June through the Coles County Historical Society for many years. The whole family has my sympathy and prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Cooper's passing. Both you and Dr. Cooper provided a place of occasional refuge from the trials and tribulations of growing up. I enjoyed being a part of your family and have many fond memories of my time in Charleston. I wish you all well.

Oh, my, June and family, it just seems impossible that a man who has given to so many in so many different ways is no longer with us! I have really been reflecting today on my interactions with June and George and how much they have meant to me. May God be with you; we know He is with George.

I have many fond memories of Dr. Cooper as I earned my BS and MS in business education at EIU. His excellent mentoring served as a wonderful example for my own career as a business teacher. My sympathies to his family.
